Hoy's Martial Arts Academy

Longtime friend and collaborater Jeff Downie had asked for my help in putting together a short film supporting his friend's martial arts studio, specifically highlighting his master's unconventional training techniques such as flipping 300lb tires using the tagline, "It's Like a Drug." It's purpose was to show that anyone, despite their age, gender or position, can accomplish this training regiment through discipline, dedication and a little hard work. Using Canon's 5D and a small crew of 5, Jeff and I shot this this piece over the course of a summer afternoon, using me to serve mainly in a consultative role on both the set and in the editing room.
